Wi-fi is not available but ethernet cable is. Also you get to choose the size of your residence... 1-7 bedrooms... and each bedroom has it's own private bathroom. Remember that the community is set up as a luxury, high quality residential community, so you'll have access to spas, yoga and pilates classes, horse riding etc along with your very own beautiful, comfortable and luxurious apartment.
The funds allocated to residence and endowment are placed in a Cryptocurrency Investment Account at Goloka International Bank. GIB seeks to grow the value of these funds to cover the cost of the Lifetime Community Membership on January 1, 2026. You can see what that cost is projected to be when you calculate an enrollment. For example here is a calculation for 1-bedroom, 1 adult, in Geozone 3
Pre-enrollment Cost April 18, 2021 GolokaSeed = $ 319
$8,549.20 ($335,000.00 Value in 2026)
$7,656.00 ($240,000.00 Value in 2026)
So the person can pay today the sum of $8,549.20 + $7,656.00 and expect to have $335,500 + $240,000 in value in the Investment Account and Lifetime Membership Value on January 1, 2026. We believe this amount of $575,000 will be sufficient to build the 1-bedroom residence and .1% of the cost (1 of 1,000 members share) of all the Community amenities, features, and the land. We pledge to use 98% of the funds in the Member's investment account exclusively for creating and maintaining the Community and the Member's residence therein. The amount paid for the Invincibility Shield is not refundable. Some possible scenarios can arise:
Member changes his mind and wants a refund at any time - we will refund the total USD value of the Investment Account less 25%. So in the above example, $16,205.20 is paid in and this amount is invested in cryptocurrencies for 1 year and grows to $33,000 (this is expected and necessary to reach the the $575,000 objective in 5 years - daily compounding at 71.5% annual rate). The refund would be 75% of $33,000 or $24,750. To get a full refund of $16,200 he would have to wait about 6 months. If he requests a refund after 1 week, for example, he will get about $12,150. Some contingencies:
The rate of return is not guaranteed and could be significantly higher or lower.
The Community will acquire land and begin creating infrastructure and buildings 3 or more years before January 1, 2026 in order to have a fully functional, ready to move in Community ready and will pay for these expenses out of a proportionate share of all Member's Investment Accounts. This will reduce the Investment Account balance.
On January 1, 2026 the window for refunds is closed and now the Member owns the Membership. He may sell the membership to anyone approved by the Community Administrator, or he can sell it to the Community for "the greater of the price originally paid plus 8% per annum compounded interest on this original price, starting on the date of first residence in the Community, or the current market price of the Membership"
Member dies before January 1, 2026 - then the Membership is passed down to his named Beneficiary and that person assumes all the rights for refund or sale of the Membership
Member is supposed to make a certain number of installment payments or pay a certain amount within a specified time. Failure to meet this obligation results in forfeiture of all amounts paid
Member is on the SSB program and earning the Membership and after some time drops out - all amounts deducted from earnings to pay for the Membership are forfeited
You are the enroller of every person in your Contact Relationship Manager, should they signup to be Ambassadors. You own all leads that you have entered into the system from your own contacts, or those given to you that you have taken to the next level, i.e., from interested in information (a past customer or someone from the website) to Ekam Vitara Membership or from Ekam Vitara Membership (a current Ekam Member) to Community Pre-enrollment. If you fail to contact a lead that you do not own within 10 days it may be given to another Ambassador. Once you make contact, the lead will not be taken back unless it grows dormant and there is no further contact for 30 days.
No, it is not. A pyramid scheme is a business model that recruits members via a promise of payments or services for enrolling others into the scheme, rather than supplying investments or sale of products. As recruiting multiplies, recruiting becomes quickly impossible, and most members are unable to profit; as such, pyramid schemes are unsustainable and often illegal. The Goloka Project supplies services (Community Memberships) and products (Shield Vitaras). We have limited recruiting on all levels, 1,000 for the community creators and 1 million total Members. In a pyramid scheme, everyone who joins is promised to be paid by enrolling others, We have a small team of 800 Ambassadors who enroll everyone. In a pyramid scheme, the last people to join are cheated and do not have any opportunity to make money. For us, the last Ambassador will have almost as much opportunity as the first, only reduced by 0.1% (1,000 members have joined out of 1 million). The Goloka Project is not even close to a pyramid scheme.
We are giving every staff member their own private yurt and these are very nice, here are some pictures:
We are using yurts for housing at first because we must have permits to build permanent housing and these go up pretty quickly
They will receive average $1,600 per month average stipend. Here is a projection of actual stipend payments per month over the next 5 years with GolokaCoin rewards:
We do need about $64,000 before they can move in to pay for their furnished yurt and some community infrastructure like a water tower, solar panels, propane tank, Internet fiberoptics cable, etc. But after that, they pay nothing forever. If someone wants to join staff and does not have $64,000 they can go on a special Ambassador program where they earn the $64,000 in 90 days. Your Ambassador commission on a staff member is about $11,000 in this case because you earn 7.5% on all of their Ambassador sales plus a $5,000 bonus.
Very briefly, the Goloka Project is a non-profit organization that proposes a feasible plan of action to prepare for the Krishna Golden Age through a holistic global socio-economic system that establishes a peaceful, joyful, loving, progressive and sustainable global civilization based on the model Ideal Society in the Absolute realm, known as Goloka.
The Goloka Project is a vision of the near future, only 10 to 20 years from now, when the world will enter a new age of peace, love, harmony and prosperity. This period, known in Vedic Literature as Satya Yuga or Satyug, was predicted to come at this time by the Incarnation of God (Krishna), which began around 3181 BC. During this Incarnation, Krishna lived on earth for 150 years. You can read theSrimad Bhagavatamfor the full story of His Incarnation, it was a very interesting time. When He was leaving at about 3031 BC, at the start ofKali yuga, He made a prediction. We find this prediction in theBrahma-vaivarta Purana, 4thKhanda, Chapter 129, 49-60.
From this we know that after about 5,000 years ofKali yuga(we have been inKali yugafor 5,046 years as of 2015), we can expect a reset on earth to a time when all people on earth will enjoy Krishna Realization. Such a time is found only duringSatya yuga, so this 10,000 year period must be a time ofSatya yuga. Maharishi said in 1970 (5,001 years intoKali yuga) that He saw the dawning of the Age of Enlightenment, and this time of universal Enlightenment will last for 10,000 years. In 1975 Maharishi made a world tour to inaugurate the Dawn of the Age of Enlightenment and predicted the entire world would become an Ideal Society of the Enlightened - literally Heaven on Earth, or what we call The Krishna Golden Age.
To endKali yugaand bring in the dawn ofSatya yuga, there is always apralayaor transitional phase. At the end of the lifetime of Lord Brahma, there is a major destruction of the entire universe – absolutely nothing remains. At the end of each Day of Brahma, there is a majorpralayathat separates the end ofKali yugafrom the start of the newSatya yuga. This is a period of almost total destruction, like when waking from a dream; one only has the memory of the dream. But like a recurring dream, the next Day of Brahma dawns as a renewed dream, starting withSatya yugaand a new population of mind born children of Brahma.
Today we are alive to witness thepralayathat will culminate in the start of a 10,000-yearSatya yuga. This is done to provide a “reset” so that the current Day of Brahma does not end prematurely. We have 427,000 years ofKali yugato go in this Day of Brahma! But Man has declined into a state of ignorance, decadence and deceit that threatens the very existence of this Day of Brahma.
Krishna, through His expansion as Lord Vishnu, is the aspect of the Divine who maintains the universe created by Lord Brahma. Anytime the universe begins to “go off the rails,” Lord Vishnu will step in to restore it to the prescribed path. This 10,000 yearSatya yugais one example of such an intervention to save the Day of Brahma from prematurely ending. Like a rain shower to bring an end to a drought so that the land may again bring forth food, a period of destruction is coming to remove the negative influences and allow a new era of happiness, peace and perfection for Man to bloom.
The mandate of the Goloka Project is to prepare for the coming Krishna Golden Age.
The balancing of collective karma is inevitable and occurs when the weight of the karma is so great that the universe must react, often in an explosive and destructive manner. This great balancing is coming for the people of earth in the very near future. While it is possible to avert or soften the destructive force of this balancing, it is highly unlikely that the population will be able to accomplish this. The only alternative is to provide a safe-haven for as many as possible to survive what we know as the Samvartaka Fire, caused by the balancing of collective karma. There will be a great destruction on earth and most of the population will perish. Those who take precautions as outlined by the Goloka Project will survive.
There is a group that likes to refer to themselves as the global elite, and are promoting "one world governance", are the visible agents of the pralaya. However the global elite are minor players in the destruction scenario that is playing out for the population of the earth. The major player is the 3,600 lunar year cycle of the Nibiru / Nemesis planetary system which is coming soon to wreak havoc on earth. The global elite are weakening the population and implementing various plans to maximize the die-off from the flyby of Nibiru / Nemesis. We welcome you to take the free MVU Online Academy Course "Agents of the Pralaya" for in-depth information.
Phase One: Create as many Goloka Sanctuary Communities as time allows before the Extinction Level Events begin. Please read our book Returning to Goloka for complete details about the coming ELE.. We hope to create at least 1,000 communities world-wide. The first community will be the model and all of the plans and detailed information about how the replicate this self-sufficient sanctuary community will be freely available to everyone. We will provide free guidance and whatever support we can to others who are building communities in their local areas. This includes site evaluation before construction begins to insure that the site is suitable for a community. When the global elite and governments retreat to their underground bunkers, we will enter our Goloka Sanctuary Communities.
Phase Two: Life during the pralaya in the Goloka Sanctuary Communities. Each community is self-sufficient and does not rely on any other community or any resource outside of the community except for water, air and sunshine. Each community has a spiritual development component and an educational structure for the residents consisting of a MahaVideha University campus, a MahaVideha School and a SriVyuha Ashram.
Phase Three: When the events of the pralaya have subsided, and it is safe for community members to emerge from the community, individuals and families will establish new homes and eventually the communities will serve as hubs for the growing population.
No. Some will survive the pralaya who are not in a Goloka Sanctuary Community. Survival is a function of individual karma. When there is a massive balancing of collective karma, there are those in the collective who do not have the karma to be among those who fail to survive. The global elite, who are possessed by the asuric forces that are the agents of this pralaya, seem to believe that about 500 million will survive.
How do you know if you are among the ones with the karma to survive the pralaya? Knowledge of one's personal karma is possible, for this we have Jyotish. But in Kali yuga, Jyotish is far from precise - at best perhaps 25% accurate, whereas in Satya yuga it can be 100% accurate. Then we have the fortune tellers - not that accurate. Or one could master the process of performing samyama on the 16th Vibhuti Sutra of Patanjali and be able to know the past lives and the probable future. Sri Vyuha Association even has a course for Remote Viewing that will help you gain this ability.
You can look at external factors and probabilities, for example it is highly probable that massive tsunamis will cause the total loss of New York City and Los Angeles - they will simply be under water. Those who refuse to move out of those cities are very likely not to survive. There is a high probability of extreme solar radiation during the pralaya which will be like living in a microwave oven. If you cannot find sufficient shelter (a deep cave or bunker that is several feet below ground) during this days, you will not survive.
When the power grid goes down and all the nuclear power plants are no longer able to cool their reactors, you will not want to be within 300 miles of one of these.
Then one should consider the quality of life during the pralaya. In a Goloka Sanctuary Community the residents will have a comfortable lifestyle with plenty of food, water and proper shelter. The monolithic concrete dome structures are very comfortable places to live and impervious to fire and earthquake damage. In the community you are surrounded by like-minded spiritual people who are not ruled by fear, but instead enjoy an environment of love and acceptance.
All creatures will feel the greatest stress during this period of "crossing the cusp" as Marshall Masters calls it. In his bookPlanet X Forecast, he writes "Born of chaos, the period of the cusp is a time of flux and disorientation for all life on the planet." It will be most important to be in a spiritual community during this time. Fear will be our greatest enemy during this time, and in a community of like-minded spiritual people, there will be no fear.
The flyby will last several years, and up to 10 years will pass before the Earth will settle into a more normal pattern of weather and blue skies will once again be seen in the beautiful Krishna Golden Age.
There will be no need for money in Goloka. Think of Goloka as a very large, close-knit, loving family - there is no money needed in such a family.
Money is a system of control invented by the bankers (who are the global elite) - it is a massive psy-op to weaken and enslave the population. We are told it is an efficient way to obtain the goods and services that we need to live and enjoy life. But then we are subject to the psy-op of advertising, which endeavors to create artificial demand for some product or service. And so the game is played and we are the pawns. The global elite are in charge of the money and as Mayer Rothschild is purported to have said: "Give me control of a Nation's money supply, and I care not who makes its laws." The bottom line about money is control - money is used to control the behavior of those with limited purchasing power.
Money is an instrument of the ignorance of Kali yuga and has no place in Satya yuga - the Krishna Golden Age - where we are headed after the pralaya. So we will use the instrument of Kali yuga, money, to create our beautiful Goloka Sanctuary Communities in the midst of Kali yuga, then once we enter the communities we will have entered into Satya yuga and from that point there will be no use for money.
Wonderful! If nothing happens then we will enjoy even more delight in our Goloka Communities. The primary focus is on Enlightenment, Moksha so our communities are first and foremost spiritual communities for like-minded people to enjoy the company of each other and grow in knowledge and Enlightenment together. The goal of human existence is Moksha, but without the love and support of a spiritual community, achieving Moksha can be very difficult if not impossible.
The global elite have been working to dominate the world for several hundred years, and in some areas for thousands of years. Their lives are examples of pure evil and they are the primary source of the negative karma that is at the root cause of the destructive events of the pralaya. Krishna knew that powerful rakshasas would be able to possess and dominate a group of humans and cause the degeneration and downfall of the human race. Hence He predicted the fall of humanity, to rise again as His devotees in the Krishna Golden Age that is coming in the next 10 to 20 years. So, we do not expect the global elite to survive the pralaya.
Nibiru and Planet X is a NASA hoax, so do not plan on seeing anything like this soon. We cover this topic in detail in the book Returning to Goloka, which you can read online for free at http://www.returningtogoloka.com. See chapter 4 and 5 for specific details about the Nibiru hoax.
The time of the pralayais upon us and attacks like this will only escalate. Terrorists are the creation of the global elite. Imagine a deranged person collecting a number of poisonous spiders until he has a box full of deadly spiders, then he dumps the spiders in that box on the bed of his enemy. The spiders will run and hide in the bed, only to come out in the dark of night to kill the innocents in the bed. Like this, the global elite have collected and encouraged radical individuals, given them weapons, money and cultivated in them hatred for others.
The global elite organized to bring the radical individuals into America and Europe as "refugees" of a war in Syria that the global elite organized and is funding, and now these radicals are in place to attack the population. This creates fear in the people, which the global elite energetically feed on, and makes the people cry for help. Then they can offer their solution, more totalitarian control.
Their game plan is "problem - reaction - solution" and they play both ends. We live in a society today that is manipulated by the psy-ops of the global elite. Psy-Ops is a term from the military for psychological operations against the enemy, to weaken and ultimately defeat the enemy. We are the enemy of the global elite. You are either a member of the global elite or you are the general population, and therefore the enemy that must be deceived, controlled and ultimately destroyed.
We live in a time of great delusion and illusion. Like children subject to a constant magic show, we watch the events on the world stage unfold. Governments around the world have been taken over by special interests, the so-called global elite, who now stage everything as if our life is nothing more than a movie for their entertainment. The general population is treated like laboratory rats in cages, subject to experimentation and control.
All of this theatre is part of the psy-ops that is necessary to hide the true agenda: maximize the kill rate from the Nibiru / Nemesis flyby disasters and looting of the population by the global elite so they can hand over the spoils to their masters when they arrive at the early stages of the flyby.
Our task is to understand the psy-ops being used against us and not fall prey to them. Instead, we should work out ways to avoid the brunt of the flyby karma balancing so that we survive to become the first generation of the new age that will arise after all of the disasters of the flyby are over. This new age is the Krishna Golden Age, a 10,000-year Satya yuga period of peace, harmony, spiritual progress, beauty, acceptance and unconditional love for the entire Family of Man.
In the ideal, government exists only as we are lead by the inspiration of Krishna in all things. In Kali yuga, there must be a government of people to lead the people, but this is literally the blind leading the blind. Egos flare in the government bureaucrats as they savor their apparent power over others. This only leads to tryanny as the ultimate outcome and that is what we experience today from government. Anarchy is not the answer, that is the blind with no leader at all. Krishna Consciousness is the answer, for then all flows in Divine Right Order for all of the people. This is the natural form of government in Satya yuga and of course in the Goloka Community we are living in Satya yuga now, while the raging fires of the pralaya exist all around.
Fairfield Iowa is a wonderful spiritual community and I personally have enjoyed living there for a total of 10 years at various times in the my past. However the location is not suitable for a Goloka Sanctuary Community due to its elevation (778 feet) and proximity to the Palo Nuclear Power Plant (73 miles). Let me explain in detail these two important factors in selecting a good location for a Goloka Sanctuary Community.
Elevation - at least 2,000 feet above sea level to avoid flooding from massive tsunamis. Fairfield is also near the New Madrid fault which means it will be close to the internal coast line of the split North American Continent and therefore qualifies as an area that must be at least 2,000 feet elevation. We do not believe Fairfield will be under water continuously during and after the pole shift, but it will be seriously flooded and likely to be under water for some months at least.
Proximity to a Nuclear Power Plant - at least 400 miles from any Nuclear Power Plant. Fairfield is only 73 miles from the Duane Arnold Energy Center in Palo, Iowa. The global elite have located Nuclear Power Plants throughout major population centers in North America and Europe. There are 104 in the United States and 180 in Europe, all in high population areas. When the power grid fails and the backup generators run out of fuel, there will be Fukushima style melt downs that will render the surrounding area uninhabitable by most forms of life. These power plants are all at the end of their engineered life cycle of about 40 years. Most are now leaking radiation at levels that used to be considered unacceptable - they just raised the standards in recent years and turned off radiation alarms. The global elite plan on at least 200 million deaths in the USA and 500 million in Europe from the meltdown of these aging Nuclear Power Plants.
Each of the Vitaras has a targeted objective. In the case of the Nrivana Vitara, it utilizes mostly Theta frequencies to create brain wave entrainment that will give you a blissful, deep meditation and cause the brain to create new neurons. The God Vitara uses primarily Delta frequencies to trigger transcendence to the subtle bodies. It is focused on connecting you to the Silent Witness and helping you follow the Silent Witness to deeper and deeper levels of transcending.
The God Vitara is more powerful than the Nirvana Vitara because is has four Vedic Vitara Antennas instead of only one. Plus, each of the Vedic Vitara Antennas has both a ferriite core coil and a quartz crystal core coil. The Nirvana Vitara uses exclusively the ferrite core coil. With the crystal core coil, the frequencies reach the deeper levels of the mind in both the pranamaya kosha and the manomaya kosha. This carries your mantra directly into these subtle bodies and then the mantra can balance karmic traces on these deeper levels. So, with the God Vitara you will be balancing deep karmic traces with every meditation, even if you are not transcending to these deeper levels.
Wonderful experience! You have just verified the effictiveness of both of the main features of the God Vitara. It is a common experience as well. When you try the God Vitara for the first time, you could feel the Presence of God and identify with the Blissful Silent Witness right away. But in the background, your mantra is being transmitted into your manomaya kosha where the roots of your karmic traces exist.
Before long, you will be experiencing the balancing of those karmic traces, which is experienced as thoughts in the mind - whenever a karmic trace balances, it gives off a thought that is related to it. At first, the thoughts are more powerful than the Silent Witness so that is all you experience, but in time, you will not lose the Silent Witness and the barrage of thoughts will continue. But then, you don't care!
When you are established in the Silent Witness, nothing disturbs your Peace and Bliss. When you reach this stage, you will be making maximum progress boring the tunnel through your mountain ranges of karmic traces to expose the Blissful Divine Karmic Traces.
As you continue your meditations with the God Vitara, this tunnel will become larger and larger until, one day, you will not lose the Silent Witness at any time of the day or night. You will be living in the present moment at all times and enjoying the synchronicity that arises from the power of the NOW. This 24X7 witnessing of your life from the Silent Witness is the Cosmic Consciousness.
We chose the Sri Chakra for the God Vitara Logo because the Sri Chakra represents the energy patterns of the Divine Thought that created our Universe. This Thought is recorded as 432,000 syllables of the Rig Veda. Lord Brahma, our Creator, creates the Universe by performing samyama on these 432,000 syllables. Our Unverse is a Fractal Phenomonon, also known as The Repeating Pattern Phenomenon. Fractals are objects in which the same patterns occur again and again at different scales and sizes. In a perfect fractal, this “self-similarity” goes infinitely deep: each pattern is made up of smaller copies of itself, and those smaller copies are made up of smaller copies again, forever.
The Sri Chakra is the primordial archetype fractal that is found throughout our Universe from the smallest atom to the entire Universe itself.
But this is only a fraction of the significance of the Sri Chakra. We can look at the Sri Chakra from many perspectives and one of the most interesting is the Sri Chakra of the human body. Here is an article I wrote about 20 years ago about the Sri Chakra:
Sri Chakra of the Human Body
The most fundamental archetype of our universe is the S'rî Chakra. S'rî means supreme and Chakra means circular structure. The S'rî Chakra exists as a three-dimentional construct within which all evolving beings exist. It serves as a superstructure upon which the innumerable devas responsible for the functioning of the body perch, like birds on a tree. One of the most important functions of the S'rî Chakra is to act as a communications device -- much like an antennae -- that connects the individual mind with the Mind of the Creator, Lord Brahma.
In this age of Kali Yuga, the S'rî Chakra is not found in its original perfect state. It is distorted and barely functional as a life-supporting structure, and almost totally disfunctional as a communications device with the Mind of the Creator. Hence, the need for a revival of the perfected structure of the S'rî Chakra.
The diagram below is a two-dimensional representation, in the form of a geometric design, of the S'rî Chakra of Kali Yuga.
From the diagram we see 10 interpenetrating triangles (the tenth is a point triangle or bindu) surrounded by a mandala (circle), eight lotus petals, a greater mandala, 16 petals and finally a series of three mandalas.
Every feature of the S'rî Chakra has significance and it is important to understand what each feature represents in the structure of our universe. This is because our primary task on the path to Brahman Consciousness is to cooperate in the reconstruction of our personal S'rî Chakra until it is perfected in all aspects.
However, before going into detail about each feature of the S'rî Chakra, it will be useful to see a diagram that shows not only how the S'rî Chakra relates to the physical body, but also shows the structure in it's perfected form. See the diagram below.
Notice in particular how the tenth triangle is no longer a point triangle, and also that all of the triangles are evenly proportioned. This is a geometric representation of the S'rî Chakra of Sat Yuga -- the age where individual human life extends for thousands of years in perfect health, and communication with the Mind of God is perfect and instantaneous.
The above two dimensional model of the S'rî Chakra suffers from three limitations.
We only have the front view illustrated.
Symbolic lotus petals are shown in the place of spheres, which are a much better representation of the structure.
There is no differentiation for gender. The S'rî Chakra of a male physiology is different from the S'rî Chakra of a female physiology.
Below is a series of two dimensional diagrams of the S'rî Chakra that takes into account all possible views and shows the gender distinctions.
In the above diagram, you can see a feature that is missing from the diagram that uses symbolic lotus petals in place of circles or spheres. The new feature is a set of pyramids that surround the inner triangles.
In the above diagram, you can see a feature that is missing from the diagram that uses symbolic lotus petals in place of circles or spheres. The new feature is a pair of pyramids that surround the inner triangles. Obviously, the symbolic representation of the S'rî Chakra is much easier to comprehend than the more literal representation. However, the literal representation will become much more clear when we view the three-dimensional images later.
The above diagram represents the top view of a male S'rî Chakra. We would call this the upper top view because it shows the upper five spheres.
The above diagram is the front view of a female S'rî Chakra. Notice that it is the exact reverse of the male.
Let us take the next logical step and view a three-dimensional representation of the S'rî Chakra. The three-dimensional representation is known as the Meru, which means support of the universe. The following images are extremely accurate three-dimensional views of the S'rî Chakra shown in three layers.
The first layer which is shown below is an inner set of tetrahedrons (the triangles of the two-dimensional model).
On the left is a top view and on the right is a front view of the inner set of ten interpenetrating tetrahedrons of the S'rî Chakra.
These ten tetrahedrons are surrounded by a double pyramid. See the image below.
This double pyramid is orientated with a vertical edge directly in front of the body.
Below are two views of the outer set of ten spheres.
The above image is a three dimensional representation of the front view of the outer collection of ten spheres that surround the double pyramid.
The above image represents the top view of the ten outer spheres of the S'rî Chakra.
The Sri Chakra is present in our Universe because it also exists in the Absolute Universe, which is the model for this Universe. Our Universe is a 3-D Holographic Projection of the Absolute Universe. Chapter 2 from Returning to Goloka explains this in detail:
Returning to Goloka
Chapter 2. Our Universe is a Hologram
We need a better understanding of the nature of this “relative” universe that we live in, so we can come out of the matrix of illusion and see the world for what it is. To us, the universe and our lives may seem real, solid and definitely not an illusion. This is because we are embedded in the illusion. The magic show is all that we have known since birth, so we take it for reality. If we take our awareness outside this universe, we can see it for what it is. In the Vedic Literature, this matrix of illusion that we call “reality” it is named “maya” which means illusion or magic. Those who can take their awareness outside the universe, and everyone can, know the world we see around us is an illusion. It is a projection, like a 3-D holographic immersion movie, in which we live. But what is it a projection of?
Holographic Universe Theory
Michael Talbot writes about the holographic universe: In 1982 a remarkable event took place. At the University of Paris a research team led by physicist Alain Aspect performed what may turn out to be one of the most important experiments of the 20th century. You did not hear about it on the evening news. In fact, unless you are in the habit of reading scientific journals you probably have never even heard Aspect's name, though there are some who believe his discovery may change the face of science.
Aspect and his team discovered that under certain circumstances subatomic particles such as electrons are able to instantaneously communicate with each other regardless of the distance separating them. It doesn't matter whether they are 10 feet or 10 billion miles apart.
Somehow each particle always seems to know what the other is doing. The problem with this feat is that it violates Einstein's long-held tenet that no communication can travel faster than the speed of light. Since traveling faster than the speed of light is tantamount to breaking the time barrier, this daunting prospect has caused some physicists to try to come up with elaborate ways to explain away Aspect's findings. But it has inspired others to offer even more radical explanations.
University of London physicist David Bohm, for example, believes Aspect's findings imply that objective reality does not exist, that despite its apparent solidity the universe is at heart a phantasm, a gigantic and splendidly detailed hologram.
To understand why Bohm makes this startling assertion, one must first understand a little about holograms. A hologram is a three-dimensional photograph made with the aid of a laser.
There are 3 fields of existence - Absolute, the gap and relativity. Relativity is constantly changing, it is never stable, and so it is illusory and unreal. The gap is pure unmanifest potential, and the Absolute is stable, never changing Reality. Looking at the mechanics of creation from the perspective of a holographic projection, we first study how a hologram is created
A hologram is a photographic recording of a light field using a laser light that illuminates the object, onto a photographic film plate. Then to see the hologram, one shines a laser through a beam splitter and reflects the beam off of a mirror and into the photographic plate. The 3-D replica of the original image then appears on the other side of the photographic plate, as illustrated below.
The three-dimensionality of such images is not the only remarkable characteristic of holograms. If a hologram of a rose is cut in half and then illuminated by a laser, each half will still be found to contain the entire image of the rose.
Indeed, even if the halves are divided again, each snippet of film will always be found to contain a smaller but intact version of the original image. Unlike normal photographs, every part of a hologram contains all the information possessed by the whole.
The "whole in every part" nature of a hologram provides us with an entirely new way of understanding organization and order. For most of its history, Western science has labored under the bias that the best way to understand a physical phenomenon, whether a frog or an atom, is to dissect it and study its respective parts.
A hologram teaches us that some things in the universe may not lend themselves to this approach. If we try to take apart something constructed holographically, we will not get the pieces of which it is made, we will only get smaller wholes.
This insight suggested to Bohm another way of understanding Aspect's discovery. Bohm believes the reason subatomic particles are able to remain in contact with one another regardless of the distance separating them is not because they are sending some sort of mysterious signal back and forth, but because their separateness is an illusion. He argues that at some deeper level of reality such particles are not individual entities, but are actually extensions of the same fundamental something.
To enable people to better visualize what he means, Bohm offers the following illustration.
Imagine an aquarium containing a fish. Imagine also that you are unable to see the aquarium directly and your knowledge about it and what it contains comes from two television cameras, one directed at the aquarium's front and the other directed at its side.
As you stare at the two television monitors, you might assume that the fish on each of the screens are separate entities. After all, because the cameras are set at different angles, each of the images will be slightly different. But as you continue to watch the two fish, you will eventually become aware that there is a certain relationship between them.
When one turns, the other also makes a slightly different but corresponding turn; when one faces the front, the other always faces toward the side. If you remain unaware of the full scope of the situation, you might even conclude that the fish must be instantaneously communicating with one another, but this is clearly not the case.
This, says Bohm, is precisely what is going on between the subatomic particles in Aspect's experiment.
According to Bohm, the apparent faster-than-light connection between subatomic particles is really telling us that there is a deeper level of reality we are not privy to, a more complex dimension beyond our own that is analogous to the aquarium. And, he adds, we view objects such as subatomic particles as separate from one another because we are seeing only a portion of their reality.
Such particles are not separate "parts", but facets of a deeper and more underlying unity that is ultimately as holographic and indivisible as the previously mentioned rose. And since everything in physical reality is comprised of these "eidolons", the universe is itself a projection, a hologram.
In addition to its phantomlike nature, such a universe would possess other rather startling features. If the apparent separateness of subatomic particles is illusory, it means that at a deeper level of reality all things in the universe are infinitely interconnected.
The electrons in a carbon atom in the human brain are connected to the subatomic particles that comprise every fish that swims, every heart that beats, and every star that shimmers in the sky.
Everything interpenetrates everything, and although human nature may seek to categorize and pigeonhole and subdivide the various phenomena of the universe, all apportionments are of necessity artificial and all of nature is ultimately a seamless web.
In a holographic universe, even time and space could no longer be viewed as fundamentals. Because concepts such as location break down in a universe in which nothing is truly separate from anything else, time and three-dimensional space, like the images of the fish on the TV monitors, would also have to be viewed as projections of this deeper order.
At its deeper level reality is a sort of super hologram in which the past, present, and future all exist simultaneously. This suggests that given the proper tools it might even be possible to someday reach into the super holographic level of reality and pluck out scenes from the long-forgotten past.
What else the super hologram contains is an open-ended question. Allowing, for the sake of argument, that the super hologram is the matrix that has given birth to everything in our universe, at the very least it contains every subatomic particle that has been or will be - every configuration of matter and energy that is possible, from snowflakes to quasars, from blue whales to gamma rays. It must be seen as a sort of cosmic storehouse of "All That Is."
Although Bohm concedes that we have no way of knowing what else might lie hidden in the super hologram, he does venture to say that we have no reason to assume it does not contain more. Or as he puts it, perhaps the super holographic level of reality is a "mere stage" beyond which lies "an infinity of further development".
Bohm is not the only researcher who has found evidence that the universe is a hologram. Working independently in the field of brain research, Standford neurophysiologist Karl Pribram has also become persuaded of the holographic nature of reality.
Pribram was drawn to the holographic model by the puzzle of how and where memories are stored in the brain. For decades numerous studies have shown that rather than being confined to a specific location, memories are dispersed throughout the brain.
In a series of landmark experiments in the 1920s, brain scientist Karl Lashley found that no matter what portion of a rat's brain he removed he was unable to eradicate its memory of how to perform complex tasks it had learned prior to surgery. The only problem was that no one was able to come up with a mechanism that might explain this curious "whole in every part" nature of memory storage.
Then in the 1960s Pribram encountered the concept of holography and realized he had found the explanation brain scientists had been looking for. Pribram believes memories are encoded not in neurons, or small groupings of neurons, but in patterns of nerve impulses that crisscross the entire brain in the same way that patterns of laser light interference crisscross the entire area of a piece of film containing a holographic image. In other words, Pribram believes the brain is itself a hologram.
Pribram's theory also explains how the human brain can store so many memories in so little space. It has been estimated that the human brain has the capacity to memorize something on the order of 10 billion bits of information during the average human lifetime (or roughly the same amount of information contained in five sets of the Encyclopedia Britannica). The holographic nature of the brain also explains why, when we are born with one trillion neurons but by adulthood the typical person has only 100 billion neurons left, yet memories are intact, however faded.
Similarly, it has been discovered that in addition to their other capabilities, holograms possess an astounding capacity for information storage--simply by changing the angle at which the two lasers strike a piece of photographic film, it is possible to record many different images on the same surface. It has been demonstrated that one cubic centimeter of film can hold as many as 10 billion bits of information.
Our uncanny ability to quickly retrieve whatever information we need from the enormous store of our memories becomes more understandable if the brain functions according to holographic principles. If a friend asks you to tell him what comes to mind when he says the word "zebra", you do not have to clumsily sort back through some gigantic and cerebral alphabetic file to arrive at an answer. Instead, associations like "striped", "horselike", and "animal native to Africa" all pop into your head instantly.
Indeed, one of the most amazing things about the human thinking process is that every piece of information seems instantly cross- correlated with every other piece of information--another feature intrinsic to the hologram. Because every portion of a hologram is infinitely interconnected with ever other portion, it is perhaps nature's supreme example of a cross-correlated system.
The storage of memory is not the only neurophysiological puzzle that becomes more tractable in light of Pribram's holographic model of the brain. Another is how the brain is able to translate the avalanche of frequencies it receives via the senses (light frequencies, sound frequencies, and so on) into the concrete world of our perceptions. Encoding and decoding frequencies is precisely what a hologram does best. Just as a hologram functions as a sort of lens, a translating device able to convert an apparently meaningless blur of frequencies into a coherent image, Pribram believes the brain also comprises a lens and uses holographic principles to mathematically convert the frequencies it receives through the senses into the inner world of our perceptions.
An impressive body of evidence suggests that the brain uses holographic principles to perform its operations. Pribram's theory, in fact, has gained increasing support among neurophysiologists.
Researcher Hugo Zucarelli extended the holographic model into the world of acoustic phenomena. Puzzled by the fact that humans can locate the source of sounds without moving their heads, even if they only possess hearing in one ear, Zucarelli discovered that holographic principles could explain this ability.
Zucarelli has also developed the technology of holophonic sound, a recording technique able to reproduce acoustic situations with an almost uncanny realism.
Pribram's belief that our brains mathematically construct "hard" reality by relying on input from a frequency domain has also received a good deal of experimental support.
It has been found that each of our senses is sensitive to a much broader range of frequencies than was previously suspected.
Researchers have discovered, for instance, that our visual systems are sensitive to sound frequencies, that our sense of smell is in part dependent on what are now called "cosmic frequencies", and that even the cells in our bodies are sensitive to a broad range of frequencies. Such findings suggest that it is only in the holographic domain of consciousness that such frequencies are sorted out and divided up into conventional perceptions.
But the most mind-boggling aspect of Pribram's holographic model of the brain is what happens when it is put together with Bohm's theory. For if the concreteness of the world is but a secondary reality and what is "there" is actually a holographic blur of frequencies, and if the brain is also a hologram and only selects some of the frequencies out of this blur and mathematically transforms them into sensory perceptions, what becomes of objective reality?
Put quite simply, it ceases to exist. As Vedic Science has long upheld, the material world is maya, an illusion, and although we may think we are physical beings moving through a physical world, this too is an illusion.
We are really "receivers" floating through a kaleidoscopic sea of frequency, and what we extract from this sea and transform into physical reality is only one channel from many extracted out of the super hologram.
This striking new picture of reality, the synthesis of Bohm and Pribram's views, has come to be called the holographic paradigm, and although many scientists have greeted it with skepticism, it has galvanized others. A small but growing group of researchers believe it may be the most accurate model of reality science has arrived at thus far. More than that, some believe it may solve some mysteries that have never before been explainable by science and even establish the paranormal as a part of nature.
Numerous researchers, including Bohm and Pribram, have noted that many para-psychological phenomena become much more understandable in terms of the holographic paradigm.
In a universe in which individual brains are actually indivisible portions of the greater hologram and everything is infinitely interconnected, telepathy may merely be the accessing of the holographic level.
It is obviously much easier to understand how information can travel from the mind of individual 'A' to that of individual 'B' at a far distance point and helps to understand a number of unsolved puzzles in psychology. In particular, Grof feels the holographic paradigm offers a model for understanding many of the baffling phenomena experienced by individuals during altered states of consciousness.
From the perspective of the universe being a 3-D holographic projection, we replace the laser light with a fragment of the consciousness of Krishna, and through the instrumentality of MahaVishnu (His Expansion), through the Creator, Lord Brahma, and into the Prana Field (the gap), then the 3-D projection of the universe (a replica of Goloka where Krishna resides) emerges.
From this we understand the entire universe around us is an illusion or projection of the real Universe we know as Goloka. Even the consciousness in this universe is an illusion. According to the Vedic Literature, we live inside of a huge egg and the shell of this egg is the limit of our consciousness and knowledge, unless we learn how to transcend this universe and see it from the “outside” or from the perspective of the Absolute. Everyone who can think a thought can learn to transcend. First, we learn to transcend the physical and experience consciousness from the perspective of the pranamaya kosha. Then we learn to transcend the pranamaya kosha and experience the manomaya kosha. Then we transcend the manomaya kosha to experience the vijñanamaya kosha. Then we learn to transcend the vijñanamaya kosha and experience the anandamaya kosha. Then we transcend the anandamaya kosha and experience the Absolute, which is outside of this universe.
Now that we have a macroscopic view of the Universe, let's drill down and discover the internal components of our Universe from the Vedic perspective. Cosmology is defined as the study of the origin, purpose, structure and functioning of the universe. Vedic Cosmology gives a vast amount of information about not only the structure of the phenomenal universe as we see it, but also a clear idea of the source of the manifested universe, its purpose, and the subtle laws that govern its operation.
The fundamental concept that pervades Vedic Cosmology is the relation and dependence that everything has upon Krishna; the source of creation, maintenance and dissolution of the manifested worlds. Although Krishna is the ultimate cause of all other causes, His existence is beyond the material energy and He Himself takes no direct part in these activities, but indirectly controls the Universe through His delegated expansions and empowered agents in the form of various incarnations and demigods.
Pervading the entire science of Vedic cosmology is the understanding that the universe is created and maintained by personal activity. This means that behind all apparently mechanistic laws and events there are one or more beings who enact and administer the laws, and control all universal events.
Accepting a Supreme controller is central to entering into an understanding of Vedic Cosmology. As such, proper comprehension of the subject requires that one first accept that as human beings we have very limited sensual faculties with which to examine the universe, meaning that we can never gain a complete picture of the universe by our own sensual and intellectual faculties alone.
From the Vedas and especially the Vedic Cosmology, we can receive information from beyond our sensory plane of awareness, that describes the hierarchy of beings within the universe, leading ultimately to Krishna. Most importantly, we get information of how we can successfully interact with the universe to live a peaceful and progressive life in this world, while gradually elevating our consciousness to the spiritual plane.
As Krishna states in the Bhagavad-gita,
“A person in full consciousness of Me, knowing Me to be the ultimate beneficiary of all meditations and spiritual practices, the Supreme Lord of all lokas and demigods, and the benefactor and well-wisher of all living entities, attains peace from the pangs of material miseries. ”
Thus, human society can take the greatest benefit from appreciating and understanding this instruction and molding their life around it. As such, Vedic Cosmology is not merely an attempt to understand the world around us, rather it is the process by which we understand both the world, our place within it, and the relationship between ourselves, this world and the Supreme source of all, from Whom all other energies are emanating.
We know from the Vedic literature that the world around us is maya, and maya means “illusion” or “magic”. We learn from Yoga Vasistha that the solid appearing world is illusory, it is just a dream in the mind of the Creator. Now let's translate this into Vedic terms so we see how God (Krishna) fits into this model.
There are two separate worlds, the Absolute and the relative. The Absolute lokas (realms where various beings live) are eternal, beyond the limits of the relative universes. These lokas are beyond the limitations of material time and space and therefore beyond our vision, or powers of perception. In the Absolute, there is no occurrence of creation or dissolution, and the lokas are unlimited, indestructible, and eternally existing. There are descriptions of these Absolute lokas in the Vedic literature, and here we will concentrate on those projected to make up one relative Universe.
The relative Universe and its lokas are created at some point in time and will be destroyed at another. They are bound by the influences of time and space. Both of these energies (Absolute and relative) are of the same Divine source called “brahmajyoti”, the spiritual light. About 1/4th of this brahmajyoti is covered by the “mahat-tattva”, or material energy, wherein are found innumerable relative Universes, like ours. The 3/4th portion of this brahmajyoti is the eternal unchanging Absolute. In the Absolute world are two realms of existence, “Goloka-dhama” and “Hari-dhama”. The relative world has one realm called “Devi-dhama”.
Goloka-dhama is the topmost loka and residence of the Supreme Divine Being, Krishna. Below this is Hari-dhama where the Vaikunthalokas are situated. Below the Vaikunthalokas is “Mahesh-dhama” (also called Sadasivaloka, or the abode of Lord Siva). This is the realm dividing the Absolute from the relative Universes. Below Mahesh-dhama is Devi-dhama, the realm of the relative Universes.
Vedic Cosmology of the relative or Devi-Dhama is the cosmology of the Universe that is the 3-D holographic projection of the Absolute or Real Cosmology.
In the Bhagavad-Gita, we find a statement that there are three divisions of relative lokas in our Universe. They are “urdhva-loka” (highest), “madhya-loka” (middle), and “adho-loka” (lower). Above the urdhva-lokas are the coverings of the relative Universe beyond which lie the eternal realms of existence. Within these three spheres of existence are 14 main lokas with different standards of life and duration of existence. The residents of the upper three systems have almost no disease or aging of the body, and they have no sense of fear. As the lokas progress downward there is lesser duration of life and standard of living, as well as a greater manifestation of disease and anxiety.
Modern science (fostered by the global elite) would have us believe that we live on a spherical planet that is orbiting the Sun. This is a great deception that we will cover in detail in the next article. The reality that we learn from the Vedic literature is our entire Universe exists inside of an egg-shaped structure called the Brahmanda or Hiranyagarhba, which translates as “golden egg.” This golden egg floats like a bubble in the massive Causal Ocean along with trillions of other Hiranyagarbhas. Within each Hiranyagarbha are the many features or components that make up one Universe, including the plane of the Earth (labeled Bhu-mandala in the image on the next page) where human beings live their physical lives. The Vedic literature, in particular the 5th Canto of the S’rîmad Bhagavatam, describes these features in detail.
Features of the Vedic Universe
The 14 lokas found in the Hiranyagarba are named as follows, from highest to lowest:
The term “amara” (deathless) is often used to describe the residents of the top 3 lokas because their span of life is inconceivable to us, but although they live for millions of years by our calculation, none within the relative Universe can live here eternally. In the Bhagavad-Gita, there is given a description for the life span of those living on Satyaloka. One day is equal to 4,300,000,000 solar years. On other lokas the day is considered to equal six months of our time, and the night also equal to six months on Earth. The jivas in these lokas live in their bodies for 10 million of their years.
Time duration such as day, night, months, and years are different in different lokas, and there are also different types of human beings, animals, trees, and vegetation. Some of the lokas that are visible to us are considered heavenly lokas with different timings. Guruloka, Shukraloka, and Chandraloka are examples of lokas where one day is equal to six months on Earth.
One point of reference that may be difficult for some to understand is crucial to this realization. All lokas have different dimensions surrounding them. The dimensions surrounding Earth consist of several realms of existence inhabited by ethereal beings invisible to our eyes, some highly advanced and others bound by unfortunate circumstances (such as ghosts).
There is an important loka called Dhruvaloka that we can see it in the night sky as the polestar. In the Vedic literature, it is said to be 3,800,000 yojanas above the sun and all of the Grahalokas. Above Dhruvaloka is Maharloka. Above Maharloka is Janaloka, a further beyond lies Tapaloka, and above thst is Satyaloka. The Vaikunthalokas begin beyond Satyaloka.
The Vishnu Purana describes that the outer covering of the universe (literally the shell of the golden egg or Hiryangarbha) begins 260,000,000 yojanas above the sun. Below the earth begin the seven lower lokas of Atala, Vitala, Sutala, Talatala, Mahatala, Rasatala, and Patala. Below these lokas is the Garbhodaka Ocean where Sesa Naga lies.
The higher lokas are the realms of devas, ascended masters, demigods, and angels. Bhuvarloka is the abode of ghostly spirits, and the lower lokas are populated by those of demoniac consciousness as well as the snakes known as “Nagas”. Development of higher consciousness, which also includes advanced intellectuality, starts with human beings and further increases among the denizens of higher lokas. The earth is situated close to the middle of these lokas.
Descriptions of the Lokas
This is the abode of Lord Brahma, the progenitor of this material universe. Here there are Vimanas (flying machines controlled by mantra, not by any mechanical means). The residents have mind and intelligence, but no material gross bodies. They feel compassion for those suffering in the lower regions, but do not suffer fear, old age, or death. At the time of final dissolution of the relative universe the residents here assume their Absolute bodies and enter the eternal Goloka.
This is the abode of the four Kumaras named Sanat, Sanaka, Sanandana, and Sanatana. In this loka many great sages also reside due to their advanced level of consciousness. The enjoyment available to the residents is inconceivable to us as it is beyond anything of our experience. When there is annihilation of the material universe the residents here assume their Absolute bodies and enter the eternal Goloka.
This loka, still above the heavenly realms, is another abode of great saints and sages. This loka is populated by mystics who move to higher lokas, and eventually assume their Absolute bodies and enter the eternal Goloka when the fire of devastation consumes the relative lokas. These residents can move between any lokas within the relative universe as at speeds unthinkable to us.
When fully purified from material desire and contamination one can reach the heavenly lokas, and if advancing further can pass through the higher lokas to reach Maharloka. The greatest of sages, such as BhriguMuni, live in this place. It is situated beyond the “Sisumara”, which is the pivotal point for the turning of the universe. Advanced yogis reach this loka and live here for 4,300,000,000 solar years. When the fire of devastation almost reaches this loka the residents transport themselves to Satyaloka where they live further before this highest of lokas is destroyed. They then assume their Absolute bodies and enter the eternal Goloka.
In every relative universe is one Vaikunthaloka where Lord Vishnu resides on an island called Svetadvipa. This is Dhruvaloka. Beings living here are completely pure personalities. In our Universe, this loka is seen as a visible light apparition called the polestar and is situated above the lokas of the Seven Rishis. This loka is the pivot for all of the star-like appearing lokas and the Grahalokas' orbits. The loka of the seven sages are stars just below this loka that also revolves around Dhruvaloka. The residents of these lokas are always concerned with the welfare of the living entities within this relative Universe and send emissaries to bring spiritual knowledge at various times and circumstances.
Grahalokas are the realms of the Administrators of Karma. We will discuss karma in great detail in Chapter 3, but for now it sufficient to understand that karma is an influence from the past that causes effects in the present life. There is an entire science of this karma and how it is administered and also how to know what karma is active in your life. This science is called “Jyotish” and will also be discussed in detail Chapter 3.
There are nine Grahalokas. These are subtle realms that are so spiritually powerful that they give off physical light and an apparition of these lokas can be seen in the night sky. Modern Astronomy and Astrology have mistaken these apparitions to be planets and given them names, such as Saturn, Jupiter, Mars, Venus, Mercury, Moon and the Sun. We prefer to use the Vedic names for these lokas as a more precise way to describe them. Here is some information about each of these Grahalokas. We often write the name of the Grahaloka without the suffix “loka” as a form of abbreviation.
First a graphic overview of the Grahalokas (shown as colored circles) orbiting above the plane of the Earth, in the graphic on the next page.
At the top is the polestar or Dhruvaloka, the gray/blue circle representing Shaniloka, and the large bright circle near the bottom is Suryaloka. The disk at the bottom represents the plane of the Earth.
The karma administered by Shani is considered very negative and in this respect Shani is much maligned. But in reality, all influence from Shani works together for good ultimately. The karma from Shani acts as a deterrent, and because it brings denial and necessity into some lives, it has been called or considered oppressive karma.
“He that filleth with pride will suffer a fall”, for the karma from Shani will bring him to his knees, humble his nature and by means of limitations, causes the individual to ponder, study and seek to find the source of woe, that in the future it may be overcome. Thus, while Shanikarma is a destroyer of false ideals, it is also a redeemer, in that it brings the mind to a state of introspection and stimulates effort toward perfection and victory.
The karma from Shani may produce an influence of a serious and practical nature, wisely economical, prudent, conservative, executive and profound, good organizers and managers. This karma may also produce a train of adversities, delays, restrictions, disappointments and sorrow, and problems may these lead to misery, poverty and ill-health.
Shaniloka is situated above Guruloka and passes through one sign of the zodiac (orbits above the Earth) every 30 months.
Guru is the Graha of luck or fortune. It is expansive, optimistic energy that brings benefits to whatever lokas or regions it associates with. It rules opportunity, prosperity, affluence and money.
Guru rules the karma of deserved benefits earned from activities of the past. This means that what appears in one's life as luck or chance advantages are considered the results of past efforts.
Another main attribute of Guru is administration of the karma of religion, philosophy and spiritual affairs. Its influence is more inclined towards appreciation of traditional beliefs, faith and devotion rather than ascetic, occult or mystical tendencies. Guru administers the karma associated with the higher evolutionary qualities.
Guruloka is a realm of devas, and situated above Kujaloka.
Kuja administers the karma of energy, the form of energy that it assumes depends upon its position, aspects and location in the Jyotish Chakra.
Kuja karma manifests as hot, dry and masculine and has much to do with the ambitions, desires and animal nature.
The karma administered by Kuja causes the person to be noticeably ambitious, positive and fond of leadership. The karma makes the individual inventive and mechanical - good builders and managers that usually make their way to the front in whatever they undertake. Being averse to the dictatorship of others and unhappy in subordinate positions, the individual usually finds the best outlet for the karma when independently employed or in a position of authority over others.
Kujaloka is situated above Budhaloka.
The influence of the karma that Budha administers is variable, convertible, neutral and dualistic. That is, it expresses a nature in accordance with the character of other karma that is manifesting at the same time, magnifying the malefic or benefit effect of the other karma.
Budha karma makes the individual active minded, quick to discern, eager to acquire knowledge, fond of investigation, inquiry, research, exploration and fond of reading.
The karma administered by Budha can make the individual a good linguist, orator, writer, reporter, teacher, or secretary - fully capable of maintaining any position where adaptability, dexterity, perception, skill, wit, imagination and good memory are required. Conducts work in an orderly, methodical, systematic and handy manner, being adept at simplifying arrangements.
Budhaloka is above Shukraloka.
Shukra karma provides the influence to be ambitious as well as proud and obstinate, but affectionate and loving.
The karma administered by Shukra gives the qualities of self-reliant and a piercing intellect with great endurance, latent power and energy. Individuals with Shukra karma always put their ideas into practice, are fond of pleasure, love beauty and music and have a magnetic personality.
Shukra karma endows the individual with a pleasant or handsome countenance, symmetrical form and graceful manners. Inclines to harmony, and as this karma rules the sense of touch, favors art, music and decoration. Shukra karma makes natural peacemakers, and gives a refined nature that softens the ruffled feelings of friends and converts anger to pleasure. Shukra karma promotes pleasure and endows the individual with the ability to be a splendid entertainer or excellent host.
In the extreme, Shukra karma is apt to cultivate the social and pleasure-giving tendencies to an extent that is detrimental to other interests. There can be a tendency for when living too much on the personal-plane and the real or finer attributes are submerged as the emotions dominate. It is also possible for the influence of Shukra to produce unsatisfactory domestic conditions, anxiety in love, difficulty with friends and finances.
Situated below Shukraloka is Chandraloka.
Chandra is one of the four most important realms of the demigods. It is not possible to enter into or even see the actual heavenly dimensions of this loka with our present eyes. Chandra passes through the entire zodiac in approximately one month and influences the growth of vegetation and therefore considered the life-giver for all living beings on earth.
Chandra karma provides the influence to be sensitive, emotional and domesticated, possessing a love for home and kindred.
A strong Chandra karma influence causes the individual to be very interested in family, patriotic and have a good memory for events in history. The karma causes interest in public events and sympathetic toward others. Chandra karma produces a fertile imagination and many ups and downs in life. It makes the individual quite receptive or mediumistic and bestows musical talent. The karma causes an affinity for water and natural beauty.
On the same plane as Chandraloka is Suryaloka, about 3,000 miles above the Earth plane.
Surya is the source of light and heat for our universe. Modern science considers many stars to also be suns, but in the Vedic literature they are considered to be lokas of varying material elements but Surya is special. Surya is considered an expansion of Narayana (a form of Lord Vishnu) and controls the seasons here on earth. Surya is situated between Bhuloka and Bhuvarloka, rotating through the time circle of the zodiac every 24 hours and Surya is 3,000 miles above Bhumandala (the Earth plane), which is stationary.
Surya karma administers the jiva and is therefore called âtmakaraka, or jiva indicator. As such, the conditions and surroundings of Surya will reveal tendencies and affinities that are extremely fundamental to the individual.
Surya karma is generally malefic, but not as difficult as Kuja and Shani. Surya is very important since it governs the individual’s confidence, authority, power and status. It also rules father and has a great deal to do with career and worldly activities.
Situated below Chandraloka and Suryaloka is Rahuloka and Ketuloka.
Rahuloka and Ketuloka
Rahu is a dark loka and is rarely visible, moving in a serpentine orbit that averages 300 miles below Suryaloka. It causes solar and lunar eclipses, and the Samvartaka Fire is triggered by the release of the collective karma administered by Rahu. These lokas orbit above the plane of the Earth in an undulating fashion, like a snake, dipping closer to Earth at time and closer to Surya and Chandra at times.
Rahu karma has a distinct, profound and predictable impact on human lives. Rahu karma governs one's ego, anger, mentality, lust, drugs and alcohol addictions. Rahu administers the karma of worldly desire. This karma disturbs by way of lethargy, grossness and insensitivity. Rahu karma also governs robbery, black magic, and other negative activities of life. Adverse influence of Rahu karma can make one completely brutal, and violent. Rahu karma is also significant for hidden money, gambling, fatality, and darkness.
Ketu is a fragmented loka, like the tail or an extension of Rahuloka. For Jyotish calculations, Ketuloka is always positioned exactly 180 degrees from Rahuloka. The physical apparition of Ketuloka is seen as the Asteroid Belt. Ketu karma is the Moksha karaka, or indicator of enlightenment. This karma gives very fine spiritual tendencies, especially qualities of asceticism and non-attachment. It is therefore rather common to find a prominently positioned Ketu in the Jyotish Chakra of a dedicated spiritual seeker.
Ketu karma is also jñana karaka meaning knowledge, wisdom, or discrimination that essential to the path to Moksha. Therefore, along with the spiritual tendencies created, this karma confers great discriminative powers, even to the extent of psychic ability.
Chandraloka, Suryaloka, Rahuloka and Ketuloka have a physical component along with their physically invisible Celestial component. The other Grahalokas are purely Celestial, seen only as apparitions with physical vision.
Siddhaloka, Caranaloka, Vidyadharaloka
These lokas are purely Celestial and not physically visible, situated below Rahuloka and Ketuloka. The residents of these lokas are born with natural mystic powers, including the ability to fly without mechanical means, even to other lokas. They have all the mystic siddhis, and being materially perfect beings can control gravity, time, and space. Their arts, culture, and sciences are far superior to that knowledge possessed by we here in the earthly realm.
Yakshaloka & Rakshashaloka
Beneath these higher planetary systems, in the sky called “antariksha”, are the residences of the Yakshas, Rakshashas, Pisachas, ghosts, and other etheral beings. This realm extends "as far as the wind blows and clouds float in the sky." Above this, there is no air.
The lokas of Bhumandala or Bhuloka are abodes of both standards of living such as we enjoy on our plane, as well as some heavenly lokas where living beings may “stop” on the way to, or from, births in the heavenly lokas. There are seven lokas, which are divided by seven oceans. The names of the lokas are Jambu, Plaksha, Salmali, Kusha, Krauncha, Shaka, and Pushkara. Each loka is twice as large as the one preceding it.
Bhumandala is shaped like a lotus flower and the seven lokas are in the whorl of the lotus. The radius of Bhumandala extends as far as the sunshine, and the limits of our vision here to see the stars and moon.
Below the Earth plane are seven other lokas called Atala, Vitala, Sutala, Talatala, Mahatala, Rasatala, and Patala. These lower lokas are the same size as the Earth plane, and are situated below the Earth plane. Sunshine does not reach these lokas and light comes from bioluminescence of the beings there. These lokas are populated by beings of great power and opulence, yet of demoniac consciousness, who have reached here without spiritual development. They do not become old and diseased and fear only the time factor, which ultimately must destroy their abodes. Therefore, they are given the name of “bila-svarga”, or subterranean lokas.
The residents here enjoy a standard of material comfort more opulent than even the higher planets due to their desires for high standards of sensual enjoyment, wealth, and influence. The residents are known as Daityas, Danavas, and Nagas and are all engaged in illusory material enjoyment with no thought of spiritual liberation. There are incredible feats of architecture in their cities bedecked with valuable jewels in houses, gardens, compounds, etc. All residents drink juices and bathe in herbal elixirs which free them from any anxiety or physical disease, as well as any sign of physical aging. The visual beauty of these artificial heavens surpasses that of the higher planets and this sensual atmosphere completely captures the mind, allowing no thoughts but those directed toward sensual pleasure and happiness. Since time is not divided into days and nights due to no sunshine reaching these lokas, they have no fear produced by time. Only at the time of dissolution does anxiety and fear consume them.
Narakaloka, the Hellish Lokas
Beneath Patalaloka are the Naralokas, or the hellish lokas. These lokas are of different degrees of suffering for those who must endure life there. Here on earth we can see many hellish circumstances of suffering for people, but nothing like what is experienced in these lokas. They are said to be a place of rectification for those who commit the most abominable actions while living as humans on the Earthly plane. Although life here seems like it goes on for an eternity, in actual fact the duration of one’s “karmic sentence” here may be only seconds or moments. There are 28 different hellish lokas described in the Vedic literature.
These descriptions of the material creation, as well as the spiritual lokas, may be found in several Vedic literatures to a far greater depth.
All of the lokas in the material world will in time be annihilated. This annihilation takes place in two ways. Partial annihilation occurs every 4,300,000,000 solar years, or at the end of each day on Satyaloka. This extends from the hellish lokas through all lower lokas up to the heavenly lokas. The highest lokas are not annihilated at this time. The entire cosmic manifestation is wound up in the universal form of God 311.04 trillion solar years. The spiritual world, which is never annihilated, simply absorbs the material creation.
It is described that before the destruction there is no rain for hundreds of years. Everything dries up and dies due to continuous sunshine. The sun becomes 12 times as powerful as was previously. Then there are horrendous rains that absorb everything into water.
The mortal bodies of living entities, including all vegetation, merge into the earth. The earth merges into its subtle sensation of fragrance. Fragrance merges into water, and water merges into its quality of taste. That taste merges into fire, which merges into form. Form merges into touch and touch into ether. Ether finally merges into the sensation of sound. The senses all merge into their origins, the presiding devas and demigods, then they merge into the controlling mind, which merges into ego in the mode of goodness. Sound becomes one with ego in the mode of ignorance, and ego (the first of all the physical elements), merges into the total nature. The total material nature dissolves into the modes (goodness, passion, and ignorance). These modes then merge into the unmanifest form of nature, and that unmanifest form merges into time. Time merges into Maha-Vishnu, the original creator of the cosmic manifestation. The origin of all life merges into God, the unborn Supreme Soul who remains one without a second, and from whom all creation and annihilation takes place. This annihilation of the material world is the exact reverse of the process of creation. Everything ultimately rests within the Supreme Absolute.
The Vedic Cosmology concept is not alone in this detailed analysis of the Earth plane, and the heavenly and hellish worlds that exist within the Universe. The ancient Hebrew conception of the Universe is remarkably similar. In this concept, the Universe is divided into the Heaven, Earth Sea and the Underworld. It is a bubble within a great ocean. The sky is a vault resting on foundations with doors and windows that let in the rain. God dwells above the sky, hidden in the clouds. The Earth plane is a disk that floats on the waters and is secured by pillars. The underworld (Sheol) is a watery or dusty prison from which no one returns. It is a physical place beneath the Earth plane and is only reached after death of the physical human body. This image depicts this conception of the ancient Hebrews.
Many of the cultures of Earth have a similar concept of the Earth as a flat disk within a bubble, surrounded by water, including ancient Greece, China, Europe and the aboriginal cultures of the Americas.
Now that we have a perspective that shows the detail of our Universe and even transcends our Universe, let's return to the situation at hand in the present day. In the normal course of events, immediately following Kali yuga, a new Satya yuga dawns. After the almost total destruction at the end of Kali yuga, the Creator starts over with a new Satya yuga, with a fresh crop of mind-born residents for the Earth and a new beginning dawns. The transition from Kali yuga to Satya yuga is relatively swift.
However, we are soon to be entering a special and unique 10,000-year Satya yuga as predicted by Krishna. We like to call this time the Krishna Golden Age. The residents of the Krishna Golden Age should have physiologies similar to those found during Satya yuga. This means we will live very long lives in a world where the current hardware and computer crutches will no longer be needed. The singularity hoped for by our current crop of scientists will not arise until long after this 10,000-year period when Kali yuga resumes and ultimately culminates in almost total destruction at the end of the Day of Brahma, about 417,000 years hence.
The first generation of this new Golden Age of 10,000 years will not be the mind-born children of Brahma. Instead this generation will come from us, the current residents of Kali yuga.
Let us now understand the fundamentals behind the pralaya - this destructive period that we are going through now. For that we have to look into karma.
This “egg” is called the Brahmanda or Hiranyagarbha in the Vedic Literature.
Yoga Vasistha is a philosophical text attributed to Valmiki, but the real author is unknown. The complete text contains over 29,000 verses. The short version of the text is called Laghu Yogavasistha and contains 6,000 verses. The exact century of its completion is unknown, but has been estimated to be somewhere between 6th-century to as late as 14th-century CE, but it is likely that a version of the text existed in the 1st millennium.
Translating yojanas into common measurements of miles is easily accomplished by measuring the observed height of the Sun above the Earth plane, which is about 3,000 miles. This is quite easy to prove using elementary trigonometry and the properties of an equilateral triangle. Please see Appendix 1 for these details. From the Vedic Literature, we understand that Surya is 100,000 yojanas above the Earth plane, so we would calculate 1 yojana is 3000/100000 or 0.03 miles.
So, the Sri Chakra represents not only the Mind of God, the Creator of our Universe, but also the Mind of The Supreme God, the Creator of all Universes. Therefore, the Sri Chakra is the perfect reprentation of the Divine Silent Witness, which is the Mind of the Supreme God of all Universes.
Visvamitra attended a 9-month Transcendental Meditation* Teacher Training Course at Livingston Manor, New York in 1981 and was made a Teacher of Transcendental Meditation by Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. He has been teaching Transcendental Meditation since that time. In 2012, the organization in the United States that owns the trademarked term "Transcendental Meditation" declared that only those teachers of Transcendental Meditation who came for a "re-certification course" and agreed to new legal requirements could continue to teach meditation and call it Transcendental Meditation. Visvamitra did not want to come under the control of this organization, so he changed the name of the meditaion he was teaching to Atmavedi Meditation, in order to comply with legal trademark restrictions.
Atmavedi Meditation places an emphasis on the Silent Witness that Transcendental Meditation does not.
*Transcendental Meditation is a trademark licensed to Maharishi Foundation USA, a 501(c)(3) non-profit educational organization.
The God Vitara helps you to establish a permanent state of Moksha by balancing your karmic traces and giving you a deep experience of the Silent Witness. It is not designed to replace the Neurogenesis Vitara which will give you excellent lucid dreams all night and act as a catalyst for the brain to create more neurons. I wrote this book to try to convey my sense of awe and excitement about the times we live in today. This classic phrase, which opens A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, seems to exactly relay the situation before us in our present day:
“It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisd ...
Chapter 1. The Cycles of Time
There are various accounts of the age and origin of our universe from ancient scriptures and scientific theories. I have studied many of them, including Creationism from the Christian Tradition, Creationism from the Vedic Tradition, Catastrophism, and Darwinism, and also researched this topic i ...
Chapter 2. Our Universe is a Hologram
We need a better understanding of the nature of this “relative” universe that we live in, so we can come out of the matrix of illusion and see the world for what it is. To us, the universe and our lives may seem real, solid and definitely not an illusion. This is because we are embedded in the ill ...
Chapter 3. Karma
Religions often refer to God's Judgment and how He metes out punishment for sins and transgressions against Him. This is a somewhat irrational way to explain karma. For one thing, God never punishes - He loves and accepts everyone. Contrary to most religions, God is not jealous, or wrathful, and is n ...
Chapter 4. The Great Global Deception
Humanity has been under what has been called “the great global deception” for the last 500 years. We have been told that the earth is a spinning globe in a vast, limitless space and human life is an extremely insignificant part of this universe. However, we know from our dail ...

Chapter 8. Satyug Kaya Kalpa Programme
First, some background on this revolutionary program to transform an aging, limited Kali yuga physiology into a vibrantly healthy, youthful Satya yuga physiology. Granted, this may seem fantastic to some, but almost everything in this book is fantastic: from the realizatio ...

Visvamitra is the name given to me by Guru Dev when he accepted responsibility for guiding my evolution and existence back to non-existence in September 1994. It is common for the Guru to give the new disciple a name as an ideal to become. Since Guru Dev desires that I become Visvamitra, which mean ...
